The Institute for Public Policy (IPP) is the primary social science policy-research and teaching arm of Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Its mission is to foster public policy inquiry and education and to provide service to public organizations through the development of public policy-centered research activities, programs, and informational and educational exchanges.

The IPP is proud to announce that it is hosting a summit event for East Bay municipal leadership which will take place on Friday, June 22, 2007 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the RWU Baypoint Conference Center, 144 Anthony Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871. This event will be an opportunity and a platform for officials to discuss a variety of issues with their East Bay counterparts.

RWU and Shea High School are working together on the Public Administration Academy, a nationally recognized model used to educate high school students in government, political science, and public administration in order to prepare them for careers in public service.
